The Sydney High School Sailing Association is incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Act (2009).
“The objectives of the Association are the promotion of yachting and sailing for students of and people associated with Sydney Boys High School and others who support the ideas of SBHS, and organising and conducting, sailing, yachting and associated activities.”
The Sydney High School Sailing Association aims to:
- provide eligibility for YA memberships for our current sailing students (required for racing)
- provide eligibility for YA memberships for Old Boys and friends of High
- allow Old Boys and friends of High to experience sailing using boats made available to the Association by Sydney Boys High School
- introduce Old Boys and friends of High to racing as members of SHSSA
- organise sailing activities for our members
- act as a vehicle for agreements with third parties on behalf of Sydney Boys High School for extended use of facilities or property by SHSSA members
